A Snapshot of Your
Day
You will be joining the Siemens-Energy product
lifecycle team based in Warwick, whilst the role will primarily work to support
the business with validation of financial data and creation of standard models
the wider team may present additional opportunities to support the product
strategy overall for the Aero Derivative Gas Turbine business!
How You’ll Make an Impact
●
Collaborate with a variety of
stakeholders, in multiple functions, and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine
(AGT) business in the identification, prioritisation and delivery of cost reduction
initiatives.
●
Challenging convention,
questioning the ‘norm’ and encouraging the business to innovate to ensure an
element of cost focus.
●
Build your Continuous Improvement
skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma training and owning/implementing
continuous improvement initiatives.
●
Ensuring accurate
forecasting cost data within our Service Definition Document in support of
project costing initiatives and reconciling against actual spend to identify deviation and the root causes.
● Work within the established business software
tools to set and maintain our cost baselines ensuring alignment across discrete
digital platforms
Become
an active member within a team of Entry Level Talent
(Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business projects
through our culture hub. The scope of these projects will provide you with
valuable opportunities to contribute to society, offer team working experiences
and opportunities to enhance presentation skills.
What You Bring
●
Be on track to graduate with a 2:2 degree or above and have a passion
for order and organisation with exceptional communication skills
●
Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking
responsibility for live tasks and projects you’ve been assigned either
individually or as part of a physical or virtual team
●
Are flexible, think logically with an eye for detail, know how to connect and
communicate with others and pride yourself on being positive
●
Are comfortable with change and able to react to unexpected challenges
with enthusiasm both as part of a team and whilst leading others
●
Willingness to embrace continuous improvement with the ability to
generate creative solutions to problems with a tenacious determination to
succeed
● Comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization,
including senior management.
About the Team
The target cost teams are embedded within the
business working closely across functions, keeping the customer at the core of all we do, identifying change and
delivering a wide range of initiatives. They
undertake work at both a tactical and strategic level supporting immediate and
future challenges.

Our Gas
Services
division offers Low-emission power generation through service
and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines
under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities
through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
