The management team, led by CEO Dr Gordon Sanghera, has a track record of delivering disruptive technologies to the market.

Oxford Nanopore’s sequencing platform is the only technology that offers real-time analysis, in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, that can analyse native DNA or RNA and sequence any length of fragment to achieve short to ultra-long read lengths.

Our goal is to enable the analysis of any living thing, by anyone, anywhere. We offer real-time nanopore-based DNA/RNA sequencing technology: accessible, easy to use and fully scalable for any requirement.

We are looking for someone to join our Tech Transfer team in a role that involves working within a team tasked with improving and preparing new platforms or updates of existing Oxford Nanopore platforms for release in to production

    The Details

This role involves working in the Tech Transfer team to run the pilot production lines of new sequencing platforms in order to prepare to release these platforms in to production.

The purpose of the work within this team is to identify and assess areas of improvement on all new developments for Oxford Nanopore platforms and to address those areas identified prior to releasing the product to the production team.

This role will also involve running the pilot production lines of established product lines in order to support ongoing work to introduce iterative improvements across the whole range of Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms.

    What We’re Looking For

We’ll expect you to have a degree in a suitable scientific subject and to have relevant lab-based skills and experience.
