    A Snapshot of Your Day

    We are currently seeking for a Technical EHS Manager to join
    our Gas Services (GS) team considering the expanding market opportunities
    within the dynamic energy sector. As a Technical EHS Manager, you are expected
    to support all Operational / FS and workshop EHS activities with the Asia
    Pacific (AP) Region. You shall be working closely with the Site EHS Leads,
    Workshop EHS Leads and Country GS EHS Managers ensuring all EHS requirements
    are understood and implemented successfully in a standardized manner in accordance
    with SE GS AP EHS Management Systems encompassing all operational or FS
    activities including workshop.

    Though, your focus shall be on Technical EHS comprising of
    Risk Assessments, Tools (fabricated tools), incident investigations etc.,
    however, you will be also responsible to cover every spectrum of site and
    workshop EHS activities as detailed in the Job Description. As such, you play a
    key role and encouraged to be the liaison person or interface between Business
    Area EQS-EHS function and the Operations / Field Service (FS) function
    including workshops within the Asia Pacific Region

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    EHS Management System

    • Coordinate the EHS
      Management System with Field Service/Operations Procedures, incorporating
      updates and revisions from corrective actions/improvements within the
      agreed timeline.
    • Proactive and able
      identify gaps in processes and propose appropriate improvements.

    Audit Management

    • Support GS Country EHS
      Managers in preparing a Risk Based audit Plan / Schedule at an early phase
      of the FY based on the planned or forecasted operations / Field Service
      activities and ensure timely execution in coordination with Site EHS
      leads.
    • Support the GS Country EHS
      Managers to ensure all Corrective Action Request / Report issued within
      the region is addressed with appropriate corrective actions and preventive
      actions as applicable, closed out in accordance with the agreed due date
      and implemented successfully.

    EHS Incident Management

    • To Coordinate and support
      Site EHS and Country EHS Managers in ensuring the entire lifecycle of
      incident reporting, partner concern (based on severity) and investigation
      is completed and approved within the stipulated timeline.
    • To support Country GS EHS
      Managers in ensuring the corrective and preventive action(s) are verified
      during inspections or audits to gauge the extent of implementation and its
      effectiveness (continuous improvement).

    EHS Risk Management

    • To ensure all identified
      hazards and associated risks on all activities are assessed using ALARP
      principles including selecting the best or appropriate “Hierarchy of
      Control” considering the hazards and risk levels against the tools used
      and method of work.
    • Perform Technical EHS
      assessment on new tools that are fabricated using appropriate methodology
      such as FMEA or equivalent and provide guidance to Site Manager or Site
      Lead on the assessments of the potential tool from EHS perspective besides
      ensuring the risk assessment and method statements for the activity or
      task is reviewed to ensure the potential hazards and risks arising from
      the tool are identified and mitigated.

    Project EHS Management

    • Support Country GS EHS
      Managers in coordinating and ensuring compliance with SE / GS EHS
      requirements and country legislation throughout project execution.
    • To perform bimonthly
      statistical analysis to resolve type of incidents and unsafe acts and
      conditions which requires attention (high risk) and mitigations
      (campaigns, awareness, standdown etc.) to reduce the risk level further as
      part of continuous improvement.

    What You Bring

    • Preferably Degree in any
      Engineering Field or science field. Having a master’s degree or equivalent
      experience would be an added advantage.
    • Certified / competent
      Safety officer in accordance with Malaysian Legislative requirements
    • Having other competency
      certificates such as Scaffolding, Lifting and rigging, confined space etc.
      will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum 20 -25 years’
      experience in Holistic EHS Management encompassing all spectrum of EHS and
      having Technical EHS knowledge with good understanding.
    • Sound understanding of
      OSHA requirements and EHS Management Systems comprising of ISO 45001, ISO
      14001 with consistent track record rolling out trainings and
      implementation.
    • Have a Lead Auditor’s
      certification on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, good knowledge of Audit
      Management principles & it is lifecycle and have experience in leading
      internal Audits and 2nd Party Audits. Having ISO 9001 lead Auditor’s
      certification will be an added advantage,
    • Great foundation /
      knowledge in Incident Management and hands-on leading incident
      investigations using a proven RCA methodology i.e., Tap Root, Beta Tripod,
      5 Whys etc. with the ability to robust corrective and preventive actions
      to prevent recurrence and occurrence of similar incidents.
    • Good foundation /
      knowledge in risk assessment and hands on performing risk assessments
      using a validated Risk Assessment methodology i.e., FMEA, Bow tie etc.
      with the ability to mitigate the risks to an appropriate level (ALARP)
      using the principles of hierarchy or control.
    • Have a good foundation in
      preparing training materials and rolling out trainings.
    • Excellent interpersonal
      skills, people skills and is a good collaborator.
