My client is a global technology innovator, leading advances in AI, automation and hybrid cloud solutions that help businesses grow.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Lead specialising in Java and web technologies to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and Design: Define, design, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise application architectures using Java and modern web technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements, translating them into effective and efficient application solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical direction, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Active Enhanced DV Clearance
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
This is a hybrid role that will require 4 times a week on site with offices located in London, Manchester, Leicestershire, Gloucestershire and Hampshire.
