Role: Telephone Collector Salary: 24k – 26k Location: Denton, ManchesterMy client, a parking fine operator, is looking for a dedicated Telephone Collector to join their busy team. You will work to recover debts on behalf of private parking companies, utilising a customer-focused approach to resolve payment issues while adhering to company policies. Day to day, you will be: – Making outbound calls to individuals with outstanding private parking debt – Discussing payment terms and offer solutions – Handling difficult conversations, maintaining an empathetic and professional approach at all times – Ensuring all interactions and agreements are accurately recorded on the CRM system – Ensuring that all collection activities are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations – Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly collection targets The successful candidate will: – Have previous experience working within a call centre environment (essential) – Have previous experience with collections (desirable) – Be self-motivated and results oriented – Possess strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. – Posses the ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and professionalism.
