Gas Services
Tooling technician is a vital role at tooling facility; a
successful candidate will have to perform hands-on inspection of tools &
equipment to ensure their functional capability fits for purpose, includes but
not limited to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic tools. Tooling
technician will report to Technical Service Manager and will work closely with
team of Tooling Specialist & Helpers to champion a strong EHS culture.
Should be flexible with working on-site and visiting project site within the
region middle east.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Responsible for the visual
inspection of tools, equipment & devices - Make recommendations for
improvement & ensure quality of service within his domain - Support Tooling Specialist in
inspection & testing process - Visit project site for the
on-site inspection & testing of tools & equipment - Build positive extension
between helpers & specialist within the facility - Proactive in addressing
potential EHS concerns and communicates safety measures to the team - Participate actively in quality
& EHS workshops & refreshers - May involved in to support
procurement Order Management team for tool procurement - Ability and willingness to work
over holidays, weekends and overtime as required by the forced events
& emergency jobs
What
You Bring
- At least 2 years of technical
education, diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics. - Minimum 2-years of experience
in relevant field with excellent knowledge in service & repair. - Exercise excellent customer
service & communication skills - Strong social skills &
ability to work with all levels of employees - Experience in hydraulic
equipment & working in a warehouse environment will be an add-on - Must be computer literate and
able to create spread sheets and reports. - Understand office formats and
procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
