My client is seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver to join their team, specialising in the delivery of mid-century furniture. The role involves transporting furniture to various regions, including weekly trips to London, 1-2 days delivering to other regions, and a monthly trip to Scotland, with overnight accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and unload mid-century furniture.
- Deliver to customers in London once a week.
- Deliver to another designated region 1-2 days per week.
- Make one delivery trip to Scotland per month, involving overnight stays.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving vans or larger vehicles is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture items.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to accommodate overnight trips as required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
