Warehouse Operative/Yard Person

Our client located in Rochford is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Yard person to support them during the Summer months. This role may become a permanent position at the end of the Summer. Please only apply if you are available for a permanent position.

• Location: Rochford
• Job Type: Temporary (approx. June 2025 – September 2025)
• Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4:30pm

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/Yard person to join our team on a temporary basis for holiday cover. This role involves working both in the warehouse and the yard, providing crucial support to ensure smooth operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
• Identifying and storing goods in the correct locations within the warehouse.
• Picking and packing orders with accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and yard.
• Conducting stock checks and inventory management.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and handled according to safety guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Good physical fitness, capable of manual handling and lifting.
• Ability to follow processes and safety guidelines.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
