Job Opportunity: Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant Powys
Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting childrens education? We are currently seeking a Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Powys area.
Position: Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant
Location:Powys
Pay Rate: Up to £11.44 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons in Welsh, helping students engage with their learning.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those who need extra help.
- Support the teacher with classroom management and lesson preparation.
- Encourage the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Welsh (essential).
- Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for supporting childrens education and development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
