This is an exciting time to join the V&A Technology Department. Technology is integral to the operation of the V&A and plays a fundamental role in enabling the Museum to achieve its strategic objectives. As the V&A continues to expand with 2 new museum openings and a reimagined Young V&A offering, it is looking to technology to enhance its visitor facing capabilities as well as evolve its working practices. We have embarked on a 5-year Technology Transformation Programme to underpin these ambitions and this role is key to the successful delivery of this cloud-first initiative.

The Workforce Product Manager is responsible for the overall and continual success of our Staff and Volunteer management technology products (currently encompassing the Volunteer Management, rostering, HR platforms and our intranet). They manage the product backlog and roadmap on a day-to-day basis, and partner with different areas of the museum, capturing business goals and turning these into solutions, and managing them through to delivery. The Product Manager is the escalation point for major support issues relating to the product, as well as owning the governance of data within the product (including data acquisition, data quality, data integrity and integration with other platforms). This role acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all initiatives relating to the Staff and Volunteer technology products.
