    Part-time Year 4 Teacher required for a primary school in Bebington on the Wirral from January 2025

    Your new company

    We are looking for a part-time Year 4 Teacher for a friendly primary school in the Bebington area of the Wirral for two terms starting in January 2025. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching lower key stage 2 classes, including year 4, and the school will consider experienced teachers from M2 scale upwards.

    Your new role

    As a Year 4 Teacher in school, you will have full teaching responsibility, including planning and delivering high-quality, creative and engaging lessons to a class with low SEN needs, that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will also have the opportunity of involvement in extracurricular activities. The role is part-time for 4 days per week.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    To be successful in this Year 4 Teacher role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience of teaching year 4 classes
  • Evidence of delivering pupil progress through innovative and creative teaching
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
