The Promoters
1.1 The promoters are: Student Pages Media Group Limited (199 Bury New Rd, Whitefield, Manchester M45 6GE) and NACON (Nacon 396, Rue de la Voyette CRT 2 – FRETIN CS 90414 59818 Lesquin Cedex – France).
The competition

- How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from 00:00 on 4th February 2020 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59 on 31st March 2020 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 To enter the competition you must sign up and click the “click here to enter the competition” button at “click here” by the Closing Date.
3.4 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.
3.5 The Promoters will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.7 The winner will be selected at following the closing date of the competition.
3.8 Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
- Eligibility
4.1 Persons eligible to participate are all persons of legal age according to the laws applicable to the venue, except employees of the Organiser or companies commissioned by the Organiser and family members of these. Acknowledgement of and compliance with these terms and conditions of participation is also a prerequisite for participation. Void where prohibited. Each participant can only take part once.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize or any prize you may win. The Promoters may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoters will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
or
(d) incomplete.
4.4 The Promoters reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
- The prize
5.1 The prize is a NACON Asymmetric Wireless Controller
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
5.4 The maximum total prize value is £49.99 based on the recommended retail value at the time of printing. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.
5.5 The prize is supplied by NACON. The Promoters reserve the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoters’ control makes it necessary to do so.
5.6 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
- Winner announcement
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
6.2 The winner of the competition will be announced each Friday by the Promoters by email within 24 hours of the competition closing date. (Announcement Date).
6.3 The decision of the Promoters is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.4 The Promoters will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoters will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
6.5 The Promoters will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within one month of the Closing Date, the Promoters will offer the prize to a runner-up, or re-offer the prize in another promotion.
6.6 The Promoters do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6.7 The Promoters will send the name and county of the winner to anyone who writes within six weeks after the Closing Date of the competition requesting details of the winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out in condition 1.
- Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoters, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage (including indirect, special or consequential damages or losses), personal injury or death suffered by the entrant or a third party as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoters, their agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Data protection and publicity
8.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoters may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
8.2 You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoters.
8.3 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoters or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
8.4 The Promoters will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Student Pages Media Group Privacy Policy https://www.studentpages.biz/privacy
- General
9.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoters may, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
9.2 The Promoters reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
