Sabrina Carpenter brought a huge weekend of phenomenal contemporary music to a close on Sunday night, with special guests Duran Duran joining her on stage for her second sold-out performance at BST Hyde Park. The Espresso star teamed up with Simon Le Bon and John Taylor to sing Hungry Like The Wolf during her second sell-out show at BST Hyde Park, completely taking the already buzzing audience by surprise.

Carpenter began her set in a sparkling white one-piece with her name emblazoned in pink (naturally) across the chest, calf-high white boots, and with her hair in tight curls, as she launched into Busy Woman, Taste and Good Graces, while Slim Pickins had 65,000 fans singing at the top of their lungs. An illuminated ‘SC’ dazzled at the top centre of the stage.

Dotted through the set were 1950s-style advertisements, played out on the big screens. The 18-song setlist was complemented by Carpenter’s dance crew of 12. “I’ve been dreaming of this day and this moment,” she told fans, hand on heart. “So, thank you everybody for spending this moment with us.”

Her new single, Manchild, was greeted with almighty roar, while Coincidence and Feather brought both emotion and party vibes to the performance. The 26-year-old singer graciously introduced the softly-sung Sharpest Tool, saying, “When I wrote this song I was really, really in my head… If you know it, I’d love to hear you sing it.”

Then, following a sensual rendition of Because I Liked A Boy, a very rare and special collaboration came to life: “I thought it might be fun if I brought out some friends of mine from the UK,” she announced. “Could everybody please give it up and make so much noise for the legendary Duran Duran.” With that, Carpenter was joined on stage by Simon Le Bon and John Taylor to perform Hungry Like The Wolf. The trio shared the vocals on the 1982 classic, as audience members of all ages went wild.

Returning to the stage for the second half of her set – this time clad in a slinky pink glittery dress and matching bra – the Pennsylvania-born star launched into Bed Chem, positioned on a circular bed draped in white sheets. The delectable Juno came next, followed by the inimitable Please, Please, Please.

As the show came to a climax, Carpenter was lifted into the air on a crane-operated platform, which stretched across the bulging crowd. “Send me up, boys!” she instructed as she glided over the crowd. “London, this is one of my biggest dreams come true, ever,” she beamed, before performing Don’t Smile to the screaming fans below.

Returning to the main stage for her big finale, Carpenter had a glint in her eye: “I know you guys like tea, but we could try espresso, maybe? The louder you scream, the more I drink,” she remarked as the fireworks began, and she downed an espresso – before launching into her most famous hit.

And with that, the show ended: “Hyde Park, thanks for coming down tonight. I love you so much! Goodnight.”

As for Duran Duran, the British music icons have now announced a one-night-only headline show at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on Sunday, 26 October 2025, following the excitement of their BST Hyde Park appearance.

Atlanta singer-songwriter, Clairo – and her brilliant band – once again took to the Great Oak Stage for Night Two supporting Sabrina Carpenter at BST Hyde Park. With an array of instruments, from the flute and saxophone, to the organs and drums, Clairo expressed her gratitude to be spending another evening in London’s most famous Royal Park. “I’m so happy to be here for a second night,” she beamed from the stage, before diving into AmoebaJuna and Sofia.

Olivia Dean made her BST Hyde Park debut this evening — and was thrilled to be performing on her home turf. Wearing a chic white dress with black ruffles and a colourful tapestry, the 26-year-old was grinning ear-to-ear as she tantalised the crowd with her beautiful vocals. Song after song — Touching Toes, Ladies Room and Dive — blew her fans away. “We’re here to warm you up for Miss Sabrina Carpenter…,” Dean commented, as she addressed the sea of faces pushing all the way back through Hyde Park. “Jesus Christ, there’s a lot of people here. I’m just going to take it in for a second… Wow.”

Introducing the lyrically profound Carmen towards the end of the set, Dean touchingly added: “This song is dedicated to my grandmother. She came to this country when she was 18 years old… She’d never been on a plane… I am a product of her bravery. Any immigrant, anyone who’s brave enough to do something for the people who come after them. This is for you.”

Taking to the Great Oak Stage for the second afternoon in a row, Amber Mark didn’t take long to unleash a thrilling string of tracks. Stop Calling and Bubbles opened the set, swiftly followed by her newest release Sink In – which samples The Adventures of Stevie V’s Dirty Cash (Money Talks). “If you know it, sing along,” she said. “…London, thank you guys so much.”

“Happy Pride weekend! Where are my gays in the audience?” Chloe Qisha greeted The Rainbow Stage with an energy that made the crowd whoop. The self-taught musician, who was born in Malaysia and lives in London, shared some of her kick-ass tunes from her EP releases, including VCR Home Video and The Boys. “This new song is for you,” she told fans, many of whom were holding rainbow flags. “It’s about falling in love with your gay best friend. It’s called, He Likes Boys. I hope you enjoy.”

Up-and-coming Korean singer-songwriter, Miso Extra, has already racked up attention for her songs Alone and Metanoia — but, today, it was her more recent track Happy proving to be an audience favourite. “I’m Miso… and welcome to the Miso-verse,” she teased — welcoming a whole new London fanbase into the treasured K-Pop world.

All the way from Nashville, Tennessee, Tanner Adell officially opened the Great Oak Stage, with tracks including Going Blonde, Snake Skin and Buckle Bunny. She may have previously performed with Beyoncé, but Adell admitted Hyde Park was an incredibly special experience for her. “London, thank you so much,” she said.

Finally, London duo IDER led Bolton-born, DellaXOZ, and indie pair, The Two Lips, on the Birdcage stage.
