Specialist store will offer exciting, tailored travel experiences for Bristol’s young people – be a part of our launch event!
Five incredible trips to win every hour from 12pm!
BRISTOL, United Kingdom – Youth travel agency KILROY has chosen Bristol as the location for its first UK store and is inviting local press to its launch event to help celebrate.
Join us from 12pm on Saturday 16th September 2023 when KILROY will be officially opening the Bristol store at 43 Queens Road, Clifton. To celebrate, KILROY will be putting on a day of travel talks, prize giveaways and entertainment to attract the area’s vibrant population of students and young travellers.
From the start of the event at midday, KILROY will be celebrating by giving away five incredible trips every hour. KILROY’s local team of travel experts will be presenting talks on Thailand, Peru, surfing and working holidays in Australia.
There’ll also be food and drinks, music from local DJ Bad n Boothe, plus more fun activities planned until the event finishes at 5pm.
Established in Denmark in 1991 and now the largest youth and student travel agency in the Nordic region, KILROY announced its launch in the UK earlier this year, which was spurred by the country’s burgeoning youth travel scene.
Niclas Lundquist, UK Commercial Director at KILROY said: “Bristol was the top choice for KILROY’s first UK store opening thanks to its young, vibrant student population and proximity to universities. The property at 43 Queens Road couldn’t be more fitting for a student and youth travel brand, having previously housed STA Travel. We’re incredibly excited to help fill the gap for tailored youth travel in the Bristol area and look forward to meeting the city’s dynamic young travellers.”
