We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable law firm for a Legal Secretary to join their Divorce & Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.The Role As a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting the Divorce & Finance team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and delivering a high-quality service to clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Audio and copy typing, word processing, and document preparation
• File opening, management, and maintaining Lexcel standards
• Handling telephone calls, client enquiries, and messages
• Liaising with clients and third parties professionally and efficiently
• Assisting with accounts procedures and documentation
• Supporting lawyers with administrative and case progression tasks
• Working proactively using your own initiative

About You We are looking for a highly organised and compassionate individual who thrives in a client-focused environment. You will have:

• Fast and accurate typing and strong IT skills
• Previous legal secretarial experience (ideally within family law)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive situations
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
