Salary: £45,000-£65,000 DOE + benefits + bonus scheme + hybrid workLocation: Reading (partner-led Private Client team)

Type: Full time – experienced Solicitor required

The role:

Join a well-established full-service law firm in Reading as an experienced Private Client Solicitor. You’ll join a partner-led Private Client team of three qualified fee earners, picking up an existing caseload and helping grow the practice. STEP funding is available.

What you’ll be handling:

You will take ownership of a varied Private Client caseload, including:

  • Drafting Wills (simple and complex)
  • Lifetime trusts & settlements
  • Probate & estate administration and estate winding-up
  • Inheritance Tax planning and trust advice
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Court of Protection deputyship matters

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with solid Private Client experience
  • Comfortable managing a live caseload with minimal supervision
  • Client-facing and commercially aware, with a strong attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience of high-street Tax & Trusts matters
  • STEP qualification (attractive) – firm will fund STEP study if required
  • Business development or marketing experience within a legal setting
